A big thank you goes out to Lauren Baswick from The SickKids Foundation for the invite and hospitality. The Scrubs In The City-Soirée Under the Stars was an evening of fabulous fashion, food and entertainment. Toronto’s philanthropists were the shining stars who lit up Evergreen Brick Works for SickKids on Thursday night. White attire was the etiquette for the evening, as female patrons showed up with their glamorous white gowns and the guys were decked out with fashionable white outfits.
In its 13th year, Scrubs in the City, one of Toronto’s most anticipated social events of the season, has raised more than $3 million for SickKids. More than $450,000 was raised on Thursday in support of the SickKids Operating Suites Redevelopment Project.
Net proceeds from Soirée Under the Stars support the SickKids Operating Suites Redevelopment Project. SickKids performs more than 12,000 surgeries annually to some of the most critically ill children from around the world — more than any other paediatric hospital in Canada. The who’s who was in attendance for this gala: Suzanne Rogers, Sangita Patel and Cheryl Hickey etc were working the crowd as they hosted this gala with their glamorous outfits. Save this date Thursday, June 4, 2015 for the 14th edition of Scrubs In The City.
