2014 SCOTIABANK NUIT BLANCHE, OCT. 4-5@TORONTO
The ninth annual Toronto Scotiabank Nuit Blanche, a free all-night mostly outdoors contemporary art event, produced by the City of Toronto in collaboration with the city’s arts community, with title sponsor Scotiabank, enriched the lives of almost a million art enthusiasts despite the chilly climate on the night of October 4. In addition to the curated City of Toronto-commissioned 48 temporary public art projects by local, national and international artists, 80 independent projects were presented by Toronto’s art community. Each year, the many artists of Scotiabank Nuit Blanche produce one-of-a-kind projects that transform the city. The highlights of this year’s edition were the Global Rainbow, Walk Among Worlds, AMAZE, HALFLIFE, HOLOSCENES, Screaming Booth, and 1inspired Night.
