Ferrari celebrated its 60th Anniversary in the USA with 60 Fabulous Ferraris on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills and then an invasion of 1,000 Ferraris through the streets of Beverly Hills. Ferrari fans were out in force with Ferrari Forza to see up close 2 of its latest super-exclusive hyper sports car, the hybrid V12 950hp US$1.35 Million LaFerrari, beside an Enzo., F50, F40 and GTO. Ferrari unveiled its special 60th anniversary Ferrari, the F60 America, with only 10 built and sold out at the cost of US$3.2 Million. In addition, the rest of the fabulous Ferraris consisted of race winners (including a number of Daytona and Le Mans winners), concours champions (including this year’s Pebble Beach Concours Best in Show, a dramatic 375MM Scaglietti coupe) and celebrity cars (Steve McQueen’s Ferrari 275GTB/4 and Magnum PI’s Ferrari 308GTS), The Ferraris race cars on hand were part of the “Race Through the Decades: 1954–2014.” The new Ferrari 458 Speciale A, special limited edition racy version of the 458 convertible, in bright Modena yellow, with a 597 hp normally aspirated 4.5L V8, was also unveiled under the 32 degrees Celsius Californian sun.
