The 4th annual Panda Ball http://www.wwf.ca › Event was held at The Four Seasons Hotel in Yorkville last Friday. In celebration of life on earth as the gala event celebrated a year of positive conservation that brought together philanthropic and business communities leading the next generation of conservation.
The who’s who were in attendance: The Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Ontario’s 29th Lieutenant Governor; Hal Jackman; Former Toronto Mayor David Miller; Jully Black; and Alan Doyle of Great Big Sea to name a few.
WWF-Canada believes in a future full of life, with vibrant oceans teeming with whales, dolphins, turtles, and fish, healthy rivers supporting thriving communities and ecosystems, and an Arctic where the most important habitat for polar bears, walrus, and narwhal is conserved and local cultures flourish. They envision a country where prosperity and sustainability go hand-in-hand, and where people, from coast to coast, take pride in their connection to our natural world. A big thank you goes out to Jennifer Bassett of Bassett Events for the invite.
