The Canadian International Auto Show (CIAS) is the largest consumer show of any kind in Canada, with 300,000 car enthusiasts expected to attend during its 10 days of exotic, collector and new cars displayed in the South and North Buildings of the MTCC.
Along with exotic super cars LaFerrari and Pagani Huayra, Canadian premieres of super cars Ford GT and Acura NSX, concept cars such as the Maserati Alfieri, Toyota FT-1, Lexus RCF GT3, MINI Superleggera Vision and Kia Stinger, are the new models from all the major manufacturers, from Mercedes Maybach S 600, AMG GT S, Audi RS7, BMW M6 coupe, Cadillac ATS-V, CTS-V, to Ford F-150 Raptor, Mustang Shelby GT350R, Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, Chevrolet Volt, and much more. At the official launch of the 2015 Canadian International Auto Show, the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada announced the Subaru Legacy as the 2015 Canadian Car of the Year and the Ford F-150 as the 2015 Canadian Utility Vehicle of the Year.
This year’s theme, LIFE Is In Motion, is about the way we live NOW: connected at all times, technologically in sync with not just our mobile devices and one another, but with our vehicles as well. As integral parts of our lives, we expect our cars to provide more than transportation — we expect full integration as supporting players. And manufacturers are delivering.
“This year’s content is expanded to include enhanced displays that speak not just to our transportation needs, but to the complementary lifestyle products and technologies that are all part of the package,” says Benny Leung, president, 2015 CIAS. “As always, visitors will find the exotics, collector cars and new models that fuel their dreams.
From personal style to family and friends, from work to leisure, the 2015 AutoShow encompasses every aspect of modern driving life.”
