This was the 22nd annual Art With Heart auction for Casey House! And there were some beautiful art work on display and for sale on Tuesday night. The beautiful Carlu was a great spot to have this event and patrons were treated to food stations, beverages and great desserts. But the main reason for this get together was: Casey House in Support of HIV/AIDS care.

The spirit of the artists, galleries and dealers who contribute to the auction has made it possible to continue to deliver HIV/AIDS care with excellence and compassion. Over 80 artist are featured in this year’s auction, including Douglas Coupland, Kim Dorland, Erik Olson. Since the inception of Art With Heart, over $6.2 million has been raised wit generous bids and donations from Casey House’s supporters, donors and art lovers. The Funds raised at this event allows Casey House to: Send dedicated and skilled team of registered nurses and social workers into hundreds of homes. It also provides rehabilitation care and recreation therapy at 9 Huntley St. and lastly bring specialized HIV nursing care via partner clinics to people who lack access to treatment for many reasons.

Casey House was and is the pioneer for the HIV/AIDS hospice. Barriers are faced by individuals for care and it remains a challenging disease to treat and manage. Casey House supports community programs which are essential to home care, social work, case management and home making support as well as other health care treatments.
