Operanation-Queen Of The Night@The Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts(Thurs.,May 19th,2016)

Operanation is considered one of the biggest opera-themed fundraisers and it was back with a vengeance for the 12th straight year, as the Canadian Opera Company’s Operanation was held at the beautiful Four Seasons Centre For The Performing Arts with Queen of the Night. With a  combination of entertaining performances and a luxurious party,  the evening showcased a variety of musical tastes and art forms for hundreds of the city’s Opera lovers and best dressed party goers.

This year’s show took its title and theme from the Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s classic opera, The Magic Flute. The event raised over $100,000+ for the COC’s Ensemble Studio, a training program for Canada’s rising opera stars.
The headlining musical guest at Queen of the Night was Canadian electronic music band Dragonette,  performing with soprano Ambur Braid and COC’s Ensemble Studio.  Guests were treated to a photo booth, delicious hors d’oeuvres, signature beverages, and a fun colouring book.

We look forward to the 13th edition of Operanation! And we would like to thank Megan Leahy, PR Director of The Knot Group for the invitation to this event.
