Brewers Plate, War Child fundraiser @ the Corus Quay (Thu. May 4, 2017)

On Thursday, May 4, 2017, the Corus Quay was home to over 300 beer enthusiasts showing up for the Brewers Plate, the premiere showcase of incredible collaborations to sample from some of Toronto’s Top Chefs and Ontario’s finest brewers. Donating their time and effort to benefit war Child Canada, the participating restaurants, food purveyors, chefs, and brewers pooled their culinary talents to create some magic combos.
As music goes hand in hand with beer, the big trend in band tee shirts was boldly on display. Seeing all the different shirts from such a variety of musical genres was a real treat for the eyes. Plus Ian D’Sa of Billy Talent spinning the rock n’ roll tunes!
This collaborative effort was not only a success in extravagant dining experiences, it also earned over $8000 for War Child Canada, an achievement all involved can be very proud of. And it goes without saying none of this would be possible without the public’s participation, Canada’s finest to be thanked and cheered.
