It was the 17th annual Scrubs In Then City and $820,000 was raised on Thursday night for the re-imagine the SickKids campus. The funds support the Re-imagine Our Campus of the SickKids VS Limits campaign, helping to build brand-new clinical facilities designed to accommodate cutting-edge best practices and technology, attract wold-class medical leaders, and provide the best comfort and care to children and their families.

Over the past 17 years, Scrubs has raised over $5.7M for various high priority needs of the hospital.

Toronto philanthropists celebrated all things Italians to raise funds for a re-imagined SickKids with hundred of Toronto’s most chic and stylish guests.

This year, Evergreen Brick Works was transformed into the bright and bustling city of Rome. Guests immersed  themselves in all things Italian, as the wonders and delights of Rome were brought to life with fashion, food, décor, and entertainment.

An exclusive silent auction was available to guests and non-guests alike including luxury one-of-a-kind items.
Generous philanthropists celebrated all things Rome to raise funds for a great cause.

SickKids is Canada’s leading centre dedicated to improving children’s health and home to Canada’s largest, hospital-based child health research institute, caring for more than 100,000 patients every year.

By attending Scrubs in the City 2018, guests were doing so much more than hitting the highlight of the social calendar. They’re raising funds for a renewed, re-imagined SickKids – with cutting-edge operating suites, more room for families, and more room for the innovative technologies that will deliver better outcomes for kids. Everybody mark your calendar – June 6th 2019 is the 18th annual Scrubs in the City in Rio!

We would like to thank Lynn Bessoudo from SickKids Foundation for the invitation to this event.
