Veuve Clicquot, Canada’s most popular champagne, brought Yelloweek back for the sixth consecutive year. We were invited to an exclusive media preview on Wednesday, June 20th, 2018.
This year, Veuve Clicquot launched the first-ever pop-up: Café Clicquot, inspired by Madame Clicquot’s passion for embracing life and the House’s legendary spirit and joie de vivre.
Following Yelloweek’s nationwide success, Veuve Clicquot celebrated with an immersive and unique experience for Torontonians from Thursday, June 21st to Sunday, June 24th, 2018 at Clicquot Café at 146 Ossignton Ave. Each day consumers sipped Champagne while embracing the fun and delightful spirit that embodied the brand.
“Yelloweek is an absolute must for anyone who loves Veuve Clicquot champagne. The #LiveClicquot theme will inspire guests through unique and memorable experiences,” says Alexis de Callone, General Manager of Moët Hennessy Canada. “Café Clicquot was designed to showcase the true essence of the Veuve Clicquot world — sophistication, celebration, legacy and a zeste de folie.”
Veuve Clicquot’s Yelloweek was inspired by the history of the Veuve Clicquot brand and its founder, Barbe-Nicole Clicquot Ponsardin. Widowed in 1805 at the age of 27, she took over the reins of her husband’s estate to avoid financial ruin. After overcoming countless obstacles, Madame Clicquot became one of the most powerful businesswomen of the 19th century, creating an internationally renowned luxury brand based on artisanal methods and exceptional-quality products.
We would like to thank Cristina Huré from DDB Public Relations for this invitation.
