Helping Hands Jamaica Foundation’s 13th Annual Gala – ‘Jamrock’@The Donalda Club-Friday September 14, 2018

On Friday September 14th, The Helping Hands Jamaica Foundation’s 13th Annual Gala, ‘Jamrock’ was held at the prestigious Donalda Club.


Guest were treated to Jamaican cuisine, culture, music and vibes when everyone came together with like-minded philanthropic individuals to support HHJF providing the gift of life-changing education to under resourced children in Jamaica.

Funds raised on Friday helped build school number 20 and 21! The motto of HHJF is ‘Participate, Educate, Elevate’ because they believe by providing the opportunity for an education, we can eliminate the barriers to a child’s success. To date, the Helping Hands Jamaica Foundation has raised more than $1.5 Million and has built 19 full functioning schools with notable celebrities such as Serena Williams, Shaggy, Sean Paul, Lennox Lewis, Orlando Franklin and Stephen Tulloch. HHJF depends on partners, sponsors and friends of Jamaica to continue their good work and further assist these children.

The evening started with a  Cocktail Reception on the Terrace, with a  Silent Auction filled with amazing items.
A  Dinner was served in The Donaldson Room with Emcee – Nathan Downer, Entertainment
and a Special Message  by  Lloyd Wilks, Consul General of Jamaica.
