On Friday, the Canadian Liver Foundation hosted their 17th annual LIVERight Gala featuring Canadian Jazz Sensation, Tia Brazda. Also on hand, the enthusiastic “LAYNE the Auctionista” was the co-host and auctioneer for a special live auction with amazing items!
The Canadian Liver Foundation will host six LIVERight Galas across the country. Starting on November 16th in Toronto, November 17th in Montreal, November 22nd in Ottawa, November 23rd in Calgary, November 24th in Vancouver, and closing up the fantastic line-up of Galas, their very first LIVERight Gala makes its debut in Halifax on November 30th. Buy your tickets today, and help us transform the future of children and youth affected by liver disease.
The Canadian Liver Foundation is a national charity committed to liver health and the prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of all forms of liver disease. Your participation at this event will support liver research and education programs to benefit of patients, health care professionals and the general public.
Liver disease is often seen as an adult problem but in reality thousands of children in Canada – from newborns to teens – suffer from various forms of life-threatening liver disease. Our urgent challenge is to transform the future of these children, to offer them a realistic hope for a long and happy life.
We would like to thank Michael Sangiuliano – Communications and Media Relations Specialist for the invitation to this event
