Cirque du Soleil’s red carpet premiered one of its most iconic productions, Alegria, on Sept. 19, 2019.
It was the 25th anniversary of Cirque du Soleil and we had a chance to revisit the legendary Alegría, including new costumes and set design, a renewed acrobatic choreography and new musical arrangements.
With its signature songs, stunning acrobatics, memorable characters and mesmerizing artistry that have helped define Cirque du Soleil , Alegría was amazing as a resurrected classic, plus reinterpretation for all ages, drawing accolades from fans in the audience —old and new alike.
Alegría will be performing under the Big Top at Ontario Place in Toronto from September 12th– December 1st, 2019. For more information about Alegría, visit cirquedusoleil.com/alegria.
