8th Annual Lucky Ball, Celebrating the Spirit of St. Patrick’s Day (Thu. Mar. 5, 2020)

The 8th annual Lucky Ball 2020 took place on Thursday, March 5, held at 2nd Floor Events at 461 King Street West – a beautiful venue, easy to get to by TTC near Spadina.
A really fun evening with all the proceeds from ticket sales going to Fort York Food Bank. Guests enjoyed the delicious hors d’oeuvre for everyone’s tastes and an open bar with a wide selection of drinks. Silent Auction was extensive with sports memorabilia – signed jerseys, pictures, photos of musicians, jewelry and decorations.
The music provided by DJ Carl Allen created a party atmosphere, with the highlight of the Big Smoke Brass Band playing songs we love including a tribute to RUSH with song Tom Sawyer. We all enjoyed wondering which popular song they’d be playing next! The Big Smoke Brass Band was a huge hit with the crowd – their dance moves and beat of their music got the crowd moving.
Lucky Ball 2020 was another fine evening of food, drinks and entertainment while fundraising for a wonderful cause – the Fort York Food Bank. Congratulations to the organizing committee for a successful event!
