Supper Suite Hosts Four Premiere Film Parties For Sony Classic Pictures @MARBL During TIFF 2022

The exclusive Supper Suite was back in Toronto with a VIP pop-up that took place at MARBL Restaurant located on King Street West just blocks from the TIFF Light Box hub. The event returned for the four days of the opening weekend of the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival. 

After two years of being mostly virtual, the festival returned in full form, and the Supper Suite was front and centre hosting a wide variety of red carpet exclusive events and engaging experiences. They included doing a combination of cocktail parties, industry-networking events, press junkets, and the Collider.com media studio.

Friday, Sept. 9: Premiere party for BABY RUBYstarring Noémie Merlant, Kit Harington, Meredith Hagner, Jayne Atkinson,and Writer/Director, Bess Wohl.

Friday, Sept. 9:  Premiere party for SUSIE SEARCHES starring Kiersey Clemons, Alex Wolff, Jim Gaffigan, Ken Marino, and Writer/Director, Sophie Kargman.

Saturday, Sept. 10: Premiere party for THE BLACKENING starring Dewayne Perkins, Grace Byers, Jermaine Fowler, Melvin Gregg, Jay Pharoah, Yvonne Orji, Antoinette Robertson, X Mayo, Sinqua Walls.

Sunday, Sept. 11: Sony Pictures Classics 4-Film reception celebrating: RETURN TO SEOUL, featuring first-time actor Ji-min Park.

CARMEN – Directed by Benjamin Millepied and starring Melissa Barrera, Elsa Pataky, Paul Mescal, Rossy de Palma

LIVING – Directed by Oliver Hermanus and starring

ONE FINE MORNING – Directed by Mia Hansen Love and starring Léa Seydoux, Melvil Poupaud, Pascal Greggory, Nicole Garcia

Stardust Pictures, Electric Panda Entertainment, and Latigo Films festival soiree celebrating the release of THE HUNT CLUB starring Mena Suvari, Mickey Rourke as well as WOLF MOUNTAIN starring Keli Price, Tobin Bell, and Danny Trejo and special guests Jessica Belkin, and Fernanda Romero.

In addition, the Supper Suite hosted the Collider Media Studio during the daytime. Here, top filmmakers and actors stopped in during their press circuits to conduct interviews for exclusive content on the popular entertainment site,Collider, which garners over 11 million visitors and 40 million page views monthly.  This year’s talent included the cast of ALICE, DARLING with Anna Kendrick, and Sir Ben Kingsley with Director Mary Herron for DALILAND.

Special highlights on Sunday, September 11th, included:

Natalie Portman arrived fashionably late from her Gala at Roy Thomson Hall with husband and director Benjamin Millepied for the premiere party of CARMEN. She exited the back door leaving the paparazzi out front scrambling for their shot. Husband Millepied stayed behind to schmooze with party guests.

Cast members Paul Mescal and Rossy de Palma were also enjoying the festivities. Co-star Melissa Barrera stopped by the Collider Media Studio. Also in attendance was the cast of LIVING, Amiee Lou Wood , Bill Nighy and Director Oliver Hermanus. Always the gentleman, Nighy showed his signature poses on the red carpet.

The French beauty Léa Seydoux, soon to star in the upcoming sequel to DUNE, was dazzling in rose gold leather shorts at her premiere party for ONE FINE MORNING. Ji-min Park walked the red carpet and made her TIFF debut for RETURN TO SEOUL.
