Combining philanthropy with the celebration of Lunar New Year, Dragon Ball has maintained its position as one of Toronto’s most anticipated events and the largest Lunar New Year celebration of its kind in North America for the last three decades. Dragon Ball 2023 will mark the 34th anniversary of Yee Hong’s flagship fundraising gala in the Year of the Rabbit. After an absence of 2 years, Dragon Ball will finally return as an in-person gala event on Saturday, January 21, 2023(Lunar New Year’s Eve) at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Throughout the evening, patrons will be greeted with a variety of exquisite cuisines in addition to the four-course dinner, while the silent and live auctions present guests with opportunities to acquire unique items or experiences.

“The Dragon is reborn, emerging from the pandemic, stronger, smarter and more powerful.Let us celebrate the Dragon’s resilience and spirit as we leap forward into a new era.”

while being entertained by amazing magician internationally-acclaimed Louis Yan, Hong Kong’s David Cooperfield, specially flown in by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, Kulkat Entertainment’s sensational dancers, and by Yee Hong seniors with Parkinson’s Disease doing a special dance performance.





































Auction items include a 4-carat diamond tennis bracelet donated by Royal de Versailles, 2 business class tickets to anywhere Air Canada flies, a handcrafted luxury mattress by Hastens, a dinner for 10 at the Chef’s House, and much more.The funds raised help support Yee Hong’s senior services, and the construction of new long-term care facilities. Yee Hong is embarking on its “Love Gives” Capital Campaign to build three more nursing homes with 800 licensed beds to address the urgent long-term care situation in Ontario, where 40,000 seniors are currently waiting for a long-term care bed, and the wait time for a Yee Hong bed can be as long as 10 years.
