A whimsical revolving intricate dance performance involving a threesome of dancers robing and disrobing while negotiating a rotating darkened but dramatically-lit stage.

“Toronto-based Throwdown Collective (Zhenya Cerneacov, Mairéad Filgate and Brodie Stevenson) got their start 15 years ago creating site-specific works for Dusk Dances Festival, which toured throughout Canada. Since then, they have created and performed their work in a diverse range of settings including the Haliburton Sculpture Forest, the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, a fashion runway, and for 3D film. Throwdown Collective garnered two audience choice awards at dance: made in canada/fait au canada, and a Dora Mavor Moore Award for Outstanding Choreography for their stage work Various Concert. Liminal is their first full-length work for stage and
most ambitious project to date.”
