At the stunning architectural Aga Khan Museum, amongst an exquisite display of the award nominees’ collections of artistic costumes and illustrations, the spectacular 2023 CAFTCAD Awards Gala night was held on March 5 to celebrate Canada’s creative community’s amazing achievements in costume design and arts with the creative colourfully-attired attendees enjoying the red carpet, sparking wine, celebrity chef Mark McEwan food and a comedic murder mystery, interspersed with dancing performances, awards presentation.







































Among this year’s extremely-talented wonderful winners were Louise Jobin, winner of the Nobis Industry Icon Award, double award winner Luis Sequeira, international awards winners, Gersha Phillips and Mandi Line, for their work on the epic Woman King and Monarch, respectively, and first-time winner illustrator Keith Lau.
