Fight To End Cancer 2023 Gala Official Media Day Weigh-In @ El Mocambo, Thurs.,May 18th,2023 & Gala @ The Old Mill-Sat.,May 27th,2023.

Sponsors, VIP guests and media had the opportunity May 18th to attend a special weigh-in at the legendary El Mocombo. Let me explain. You see these young men and women have been training in Olympic style boxing for the past 6 months (several others 3 years) all to prepare for the big event Saturday May 27th when the 10th Annual Fight To End Cancer black tie gala takes place at the Old Mill Toronto.
When the young FTEC 2023 fighters took to the stage this night we heard that many are doing this because of personal story of losing a loved one to cancer. Sadly we all can relate to that. FTEC is an amazing organization raising funds for the world-leading cancer research and treatment done at Princess Margaret Hospital. Fight To End Cancer uses pugilistic competitions in its gala to metaphorically encourage people to contribute to its campaign.

Following a pandemic and numerous shutdowns affecting the entire world, we have finally reached fight night, after nearly a year of preparation and training! Our Las Vegas-style, pre-show entertainment, will commence after a glamorous cocktail reception and gourmet dinner. The evening features great entertainment, amazing boxing and is hosted by Angie Seth of CTV News Channel. The Annual Fight To End Cancer Charity Gala is hosted at the historic Old Mill Toronto on Saturday May 27, 2023 – it’s one of the most anticipated Shows In Town!

WHY?
Ten courageous men and women have finally reached their long anticipated goal, all while they continuing to raise funds and hope in support of the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. This heroic team have been training in true Olympic-style boxing for the past 3 years, as they prepare to step into the ring for this important cause. Help them reach their 2023 collective goal of $200,000.00! With the goal of reaching $3 million dollars in donations this year, 100% of all proceeds will go to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
