Waterfront Awards Charity Gala 2023 Celebrating Outstanding Women

Saturday, July 15 was the evening of the 3rd annual Waterfront Awards. The Waterfront Awards recognize women with remarkable career milestones. It was held at the lovely event venue at 100 Queens Quay East located at the Toronto Region Board of Trade. And presented by Toronto Waterfront Magazine. The red carpet charity gala celebrated outstanding women in the following categories Philanthropy,

Environment, Science and Technology, Community Activism, Urban Planning and Design, Sports, Health and Fitness, Music, Arts and Culture, Culinary Arts, Entrepreneurship and Business, Film & Television and Digital Arts, Authors, Fashion and Style, Outstanding Innovator and finally, The Waterfront Award for Outstanding Achievement.

The evening featured live entertainment, celebrity presenters, a silent auction with two pieces of artwork for the 5 charities and a lively fashion show. The Waterfront Awards Gala is sponsored by Waterfront Magazine in support of organizations which support women – Women in Governance, HART, Women College Hospital, The Spark of Hope, Mothers to Daughters and Immigrant Women in Business

The venue was perfect for the sit down dinner with a stage for the award presentations with a grand piano at the side for music performances and singers. Following the dinner and presentations, there was the fashion show (although guests were dressed beautifully so the ‘fashion show’ was enjoyed throughout the evening!) and then the after party with live music and entertainment. Information booths with information on the charities were in the foyer as were other women run businesses such as Jesa Sweet Tooth delicious cupcakes and other treats.
