The Toronto Caribbean Carnival Festival swept the city this year for the 56th Anniversary of the Caribbean Festival, and what a way to celebrate the festivities with a “big time parade!”There wasn’t a formal gala this year,but that didn’t damper the spirit and the weather held up for the festivities all weekend. All who attended were excited that the event returned just in time for the 56th anniversary.
The celebration was in full swing with masquerade models, music, dancing, steel drums, comedians, exotic food, signature drinks, sensational sights, sounds and tastes. Overall an elegant evening that lasted til the wee hours of the morning. And yes, we danced to the “Carib vibes” and kudos to the band and DJ for the evening.
We look forward to the festivities to continue in 2024 for rhe 57th edition of this Toronto tradition-The Toronto Caribbean Carnival Festival.
