This weekend Genesis co-hosted an 85th birthday party for Henry Diltz in Los Angeles celebrating not only his milestone birthday but also an early viewing of his book, CSN&Y: Love the One You’re With. We were delighted to present Henry and CSN&Y band member, Stephen Stills with specially-commissioned advanced copies of the book.
Over 100 guests attended the event including the actress Jamie Lee Curtis, actor and musician Christopher Guest, musicians Micky Dolenz and Dewey Bunnell, drummers Jim Keltner and Russ Kunkel, photographer and gallerist Timothy White, President of JAM artist management Kenny Nemes, curator at The GRAMMY Museum Nwaka Onwusa, official CSN&Y biographer Dave Zimmer and family including Henry’s son, musician Nick Diltz.
We extend our special thanks to music journalist Rona Elliot, a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Museum and Woodstock Museum Board Member, who is not only a great friend of Henry’s but also of Genesis Publications, for generously hosting the event.
