Art With Heart returned to The Carlu for their milestone 30th anniversary auction of contemporary art by local Canadian artists. This was a great celebration to showcase art and the cause that is so important to Casey House. Funds raised from this amazing evening supported people living with and at risk of HIV.
Art With Heart is always a must-attend event that brings together the city’s most prominent and stylish artists, collectors and gallerists for an incredible evening of art and philanthropy. Guests had access to a night of incredible food, premium beverages and the exclusive opportunity to bid on artwork from some of Canada’s most exciting established and emerging artists.
The auction was presented once again by auctioneer Stephen Ranger. The bidding was fast and exciting just to watch, let alone purchase art from both emerging and established artists. There was a lot of unique, stylish and valuable artwork, likely excellent investments and accents to any home to display. After the auction, there was an afterparty, as patrons were treated to dessert at an interactive S’mores station, dancing, a fantastic DJ to keep the guests on the dance floor, a photo station and mingling with some of the artists.
Casey House and Art brought people together and, in turn, connected people to the care they may not have or been able to receive elsewhere. This year was another very successful edition of Art For Heart.
