The 25th Anniversary of IDS 2024 – The Interior Design Show- January 18 – 21

The Opening Night of the IDS 2024 – the Interior Design Show Toronto took place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on Thursday, January 18th. This year in TMCC North with its wonderful large glass windows to brighten up the ambiance even more during the day.

The Opening Night of the IDS 2024 was a fun affair. Bars were set up throughout the venue. Coloured popcorn, noodles and egg roll food stations. In addition to a bar and cheese and antipasto buffet offered at the Volvo booth. Sipping a glass of wine or your favourite beverage and munching on a delicious snack while exploring the IDS 2024 was, as always, a unique experience. What happens at the IDS? IDS is Canada’s premier design showcase, a popular event known globally. Visitors see leading brands from Canada and the rest of the world. At the keynote stage was a wide selection of international leaders and seminar discussions in design thinking. Plus guests got to view immersive installations for inspiration and reflection time. Miss Moço and Tynomi Banks were the evening’s phenomenal entertainment – Miss Moço, Toronto’s Portuguese-Canadian international business queen and star of Canada’s Drag Race S3. Tynomi Banks, International world-class Drag Entertainer. Along with the fabulous music mixes by the dynamic DJ Armandd, DJ Phillippe and DJ Ace Dillinger. It was a brilliant evening of connecting with others interested in interior design.

What do you see at the IDS? Everything connected to design for homes and businesses and other spaces. Unique and beautiful. Booths on bathroom fixtures, kitchens, pre-fab homes, decor, counters, new innovative ideas in design, personalized artwork to name a few. Something new and fun for everyone at each glance.

What a great weekend to get out of the very cold weather to attend the IDS 2024 at the MTCC North and to discover what’s new and innovative in Interior Design, speak to people in the industry – vendors and designers and to get your ideas for your interior design needs. And simply to have an interesting few hours of excellent design discovery!
