Comicon @M.T.C.C. -March 15th-17th,2024

Comicon Toronto, the annual comic book and pop culture convention was held at Toronto Metro Toronto Convention Centre on March 15th to 17th, 2024. It’s been happening since 2001 with its changes over the years, and has been a 3-day event with exhibitors, presentations, workshops, celebrity, high-profile guests… with increased attendance rates.

Did I mention increased attendance rates? 35, 000 people over the 3 days! Yes, jammed packed. All for a good reason. The fans were there in full force. Fans dressed in costume and ready to have their photos taken. No need for selfies… these fans had plenty of eager photographers taking their pics.

Owned and operated by Fan Expo HQ, the event at MTCC is one to be seen… even for those not as enamored by the pop culture anime scene, it’s a wonderful experience to see the excitement of the fans, the excellent costumes and all the fun and interesting things being sold at vendors’ booths. To see the hobbies and interests – and what is loved by the Comicon fans. The collectors were there! As were comic book fans! With a busy 3-day schedule of events, talks, guest speakers and photo ops. Comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, gaming or cosplay… all were there to share the feeling of being out of this world – and yet right at home with the fandom family at Toronto Comicon.
