The year’s restaurant event – Restaurant Canada (RC) Show 2024 took place again at Enercare Centre, Toronto. The RC Show is the ultimate destination for people in the food service industry with presentations, food preparation competitions, samples galore, promotion of products and evening and morning networking events with like-minded people in the foodservice industry. These included an Opening Night Reception, Industry Night Out and Breakfast with Champions.
What do you gain by attending Canada’s leading hospitality and foodservice show? The foodservice industry is brought together to shop, sample, learn, connect with others and to grow their business. Attendees are inspired, learn more, network constantly and learn about innovative solutions to increase and improve business. Stages set up in the Enercare Centre had a full 3 day schedule of talks with people in the food and bar industry, cooking demos (with delicious samples!), promotions of products, chef cooking competitions. Something of great interest for everyone in the foodservice industry, those considering it and, of course, for foodies. The set up of the Trade Show booths allowed for walking and exploring. Food booths on the Trade Show floor promoted new food products, improved products, meats, fish, vegetarian options, snacking foods, all foods for the restaurant business. Other booths promoted coffee machines, kitchens, restaurant furniture (for inside and outside), kitchen utensils, plates and cutlery, ovens, pizza ovens, grills, promotional material for restaurants, to list just a few. You name it, it was there. A haven for restaurant business foodservice.
In addition to the many delicious food samples, there was a very large trade show booth area with many booths promoting beers, wines, alcohol – with samples of these and cocktails made with these products. Another popular area of the RC Trade Show!
A brilliant touch at the west end of the Enercare Centre was the Pop Up ‘restaurant’ area where attendees could purchase tickets to have an appetizer meal with drinks. Beautifully set up and a busy, popular place! An excellent way to promote products and a way for attendees to relax and enjoy…even more…
