Canada’s Walk of Fame and Casa Loma, in partnership with Seeing Red Media, presented THE SUNSET CONCERTS, on Tuesdays each week this super summer music series featuring 12 nights of amazing performances and special guest appearances. Every Tuesday throughout the season in the beautiful setting of Toronto’s iconic Casa Loma.
Starting the season of THE SUNSET CONCERTS is Canada’s Queen of R&B Soul and 2021 Canada’s Walk of Fame Inductee Jully Black, with a special performance by Canada’s Walk of Fame RBC Emerging Musician Program alumnus, J3M. Autumn Peltier, International Indigenous Rights and Water Activist and 2023 Canada’s Walk of Fame Community Hero, presented by MLSE, will introduce this inaugural performance. It was a wonderful evening of music from various talented musicians. In the audience was Jeffery Latimer CEO of Canada’s Walk of Fame and Randy Lennox new president of Canadian Music Week. Jully Black gave a solid show even inviting audience members to join her on stage to dance – the stage was full! Jully was as powerful and emotional as always – with heartfelt emotions. She was warmly embraced by the sold out crowd who loved her music.
Air Canada was a sponsor, flying musicians across the country. Kids Help Phone was also promoted as was the Emerging Musicians Program. The Tuesday Sunset Concerts promise to be exciting events this summer! A great way to spend a summer evening in Toronto.
