Amanda Marshall & Colin James performed to an ecstatic crowd on July 12th at the Budweiser Stage in Toronto. It was pouring rain but that didn’t stop fans from enjoying this incredible show for one minute!
Colin James wowed the audience with his unique flavour of Canadian blues rock, backed by a great band his guitar work and songwriting skills shone bright.
Amanda Marshall put on one hell of a performance, with fans singing along to her iconic tunes. Amanda has a truly incredible voice, and her storytelling kept the fans on the edge of their seats. Filled with songs old and new, her set had a touching tribute to Toronto’s Jeff Healy, which featured not only a video tribute but a full choir! It was a full circle night for Marshall, who had first played what is now Budweiser Stage on July 6th 1992 with Healy, and was now headlining as a Canadian icon herself! It was an incredible night and everyone left soaking wet, but with huge smiles on their faces none the less!
