The 16th annual Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Award winners were honoured and celebrated at a ceremony in Toronto.
Presented by Western Union, the Top 25 awards shared the inspiring success stories of immigrants and refugees who came from diverse cultures and backgrounds, from coast to coast. This year’s program was also sponsored by COSTI and Windmill Microlending.



























Winners at the ceremony included Chef, cookbook author and culinary expert Noel Cunningham, Artist, award-winning musician Abel Maxwell, Poet, author and arts educator Nadine Williams among others.

In addition to the Top 25, the second annual Windmill Microlending Empowerment Award, which recognized an individual who worked above and beyond to empower and support the successful journeys of immigrants and refugees to Canada.
