FanExpo, Canada’s premiere convention for genre entertainment fanfare, celebrated its anniversary of 28 spectacular FanExpo full of fun for all.
From Thursday to Sunday the Metro Convention Centre was packed wall to wall with fans, both local and visitors from all corners, came together to celebrate their love of all things sci-fi and fantasy; from comics, to TV and film, animation, and video games. It was also a dream for collectors with a wide assortment of vendors, selling toys, sculptures, and other memorabilia and crafts for the truly dedicated aficionado.
The Celebrity autograph area was packed to the rafters, Celebrity discussion panels, and photo Op section were concentrated in the North Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. While the Cosplay Red carpet, Cosplay Booths, Vendor Booths, Artist alley with all their favourite artists, creators and writers were in the South Building.
Some of the celebrities in attendance: Giancarlo Esposito (The Mandalorian), Corbin Bleu (High School Musical), Helen Hunt (Twister), Lucas Grabeel (High School Musical),Simu Liu (Shang-Chi, Barbie), Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World), Rosario Dawson (Ahsoka), Josh Gad (Frozen), Marisa Tomei (Spider-Man), and Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Superbad).
It was a nice feeling this year at FanExpo, as it was at full capacity, and you could see all the excitement in people’s faces and how kids would react to people dressing up as their favorite character.We look forward to August 2025 for FanExpo.Make sure you attend ComicCon in Toronto on March 2025.
