We were at Roy Thompson Hall next. Emilia Pérez is a fast-paced story in which crime and karma collide. Amazing performances from Zoe Saldaña, Selena Gomez, Adriana Paz and the amazing Karla Sofía Gascón who received Best Actress award at Cannes Film Festival this year.

Manitas’ murder is staged and Emilia Pérez is born with Manita’s wife and children not knowing. This new identity affords Emilia the ability to create a whole new life. And what a life it is! The film is suspenseful with twists of plot. On the edge of your seat from start to finish! Surprise!
