It was the return of its classic and beloved Halloween-themed event, Legends of Horror  (http://www.legendsofhorror.ca/) presented by Captain Morgan, on the grounds of Toronto’s celebrated historic castle, Casa Loma. Celebrating its ninth year, Toronto’s must-attend event opens October 3rd and runs until November 2nd. The phantasmagoric event is guaranteed to elevate one’s fear factor, make one’s blood run cold and stop audiences… dead.

Tickets are on sale now at http://www.legendsofhorror.ca (http://www.legendsofhorror.ca/)

Welcome to your nightmare
Legends of Horror is a theatrical interpretation of classic horror characters, themes and décor known as promenade theatre — where guests wander at their own pace through an interactive set as the sun sets, and autumnal moon rises. With thrills and chills at each turn, dramatic lighting, 3D imagery projections and animatronics, guests begin the 2 km outdoor walking trail in the lower gardens of the property and wind their way through to Sir Henry Pellatt’s dank, dimly lit tunnels under the street. Next, the castle’s historic Stables – a veritable chamber of horrors – wherein lies the freaky and fantastic home of Dr. Frankenstein, and his cast of ghoulish characters.

Exit light, enter night…
On opening night, October 3rd, Liberty Group is thrilled to announce the special guest appearance of Toronto’s rock & roll darlings, the Cold Weather Captains (http://www.coldweathercaptains.com/) performing live onstage in the castle’s Glass Pavilion — aka the Captain Morgan Bar and Lounge — where guests may recharge with themed bar & beverage options. With unparalleled views of the creepy castle projections, the Captains will undoubtedly maximize the ultimate horror experience for all.

“We have added some terrifying new surprises in this year’s production, and guarantee an unparalleled experience for all ages,” said Nadia Di Donato, vice president and creative director, Liberty Entertainment Group. “Each year we go bigger and bolder, and we believe that our show will thrill, chill, disturb and delight, offering a unique experience on each visit. We promise an evening full of surreal fun, and quite simply, the best Halloween experience in the city.”

“Bar none, we have the very best seasonal events in town, and expect this year’s to sell-out,” said Nick Di Donato, president & CEO, Liberty Entertainment Group. “The castle is the unparalleled venue in Toronto for the ultimate celebration of the ghoulish season. We invite guests of all ages to join us, to welcome in the undead.”
