The Interior Design Show
(IDS) Toronto, Canada’s premier showcase of exceptional design, will
bring together industry-leading brands with emerging and established
global talents at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, North Building from
January 23-26, 2025. Attendees can expect a dynamic lineup of trend
setting exhibitions, innovative product launches, and thought-provoking
installations that ignite creativity and shape the future of interior design.
“Following the incredible success of last year’s milestone show, we are
thrilled to return in 2025 for the 26th edition of IDS Toronto,” says Will
Sorrell, National Director of IDS (Toronto and Vancouver). “Building on that
momentum, IDS25 promises to highlight innovative interior design that
inspires both industry experts and everyday enthusiasts alike. We look
forward to welcoming attendees as they witness this next evolution
firsthand in January.”
In addition to its consumer weekend, IDS Toronto is also set to host a
program of 22 accredited seminars on the exposition’s trade days, January
23 and 24, 2025.

Exhibitors
IDS25 spotlights an impressive lineup of both new and returning industry-
leading design brands. Making their IDS debut this show, kitchen design
company Arclinea and furniture brand DE GASPÉ plan to showcase their
extensive product portfolios. Returning favorites include ARD Outdoor,
Ateliers Jacob, Atriani, Cosentino, House of Rohl, Khayeri, Signature
Kitchen Suite, and many more.
Back for its third year, Select—a curated showcase of premium furniture—
once again takes center stage. This feature creates a platform for top
international brands to present their finest designs, including collections
from Buzzispace, Tusch, Handling Space, and Hollis & Morris.
Features
Year after year, IDS curates a program of feature installations that address
timely topics in the design industry while sparking discussion about their
future impact.

In 2025, hospitality takes centre stage at IDS with its feature, Night & Day:
The Evolution of Hotel Design. Hotels have transformed from simple
accommodations into multifunctional spaces for meeting, dining, working,
and socializing—balancing security, hygiene, comfort, and style 24/7. With
popular culture fixated on aspirational getaways, hotels increasingly serve
as backdrops for TV and film.
Night & Day is set to showcase four spaces designed by top interior
designers and architects, highlighting the latest trends and innovations that
will shape the future of hospitality design. This feature serves as the main
conversation piece of the IDS show, following the success of the Future
Neighbourhood feature from IDS 2024.
Sponsored by Yorkville University, the beloved Studio North and
Prototype features once again champion emerging Canadian designers,
showcasing their innovative work on this year’s show floor. The District—a
marketplace where designers connect with discerning consumers and
industry professionals—also makes its return to IDS25, offering attendees
a carefully curated selection of the latest home design products.
LIV Design Studio continues to support and celebrate the work of
Canadian students with their 2025 Student Challenge, ‘The Third Space:
Designing a Lobby for Connection,’ features an Augmented Reality (AR)
immersive experience on the show floor. Students are tasked with creating
a lobby design that functions as a vibrant third space—a social
environment distinct from home and work—where residents can connect
naturally. This space is envisioned to be welcoming, inclusive, and
adaptable, featuring elements like communal areas or coffee spots that
encourage interaction. The goal is to create a dynamic, accessible space
that turns everyday encounters into meaningful connections. Submissions
for the challenge are open until November 11.

The top three designs will be selected as finalists and brought to life in
Augmented Reality by the LIV Design CG team for IDS25. Designs will be
judged on concept, creativity, functionality, lighting, innovation, and
materials. The People’s Choice Award will be determined by public voting,
with winners announced at the show.
Opening Night Party
The biggest design party of the year returns, bringing together over 6,000
design aficionados for a night of connecting with the design industry and
enjoying show floor entertainment. The Opening Night Party is sponsored
by Anatolia and kicks off on Thursday, January 23 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00
p.m., with live entertainment to be announced in the coming months.
