We had the great pleasure of covering the yearly Bullseye Tailgate event just before the big game between the Philadelphia Eagles vs. Kansas City Chiefs. This Sunday’s tailgate is always a fantastic finale to the week of festivities during Superbowl 59 in New Orleans. Attending one tailgate event yearly, this is the ultimate sports tailgate.
The event was headlined by eight-time James Beard award winner, as well as a multi award winning chef/restauranteur, Marcus Samuelsson. Marcus has also been a judge on Food Network favorites, such as Chopped and Guy’s Grocery Games, Marc Murphy and Bullseye’s Culinary Director, Aaron May.
Aaron has been involved in The Players Tailgate since 2014, and has assembled an all-star roster that includes Food Network champions, James Beard Award Winners and Michelin star chefs: Aarti Sequeira, Alon Shaya, Burt Bakman, Catherine McCord, Damaris Phillips, Eric Greenspan, Esther Choi, Gerald Sombright, Ilan Hall, Josh Capon, Kate Williams, Kelsey Murphy, Ken Oringer, Lea Cohen and Leonard Botello.
Sage Steele returned as on-stage emcee, as did DJ Irie as the official DJ, in addition to more than 50 active NFL players who headlined this all-inclusive VIP tailgating red carpet experience.
Superstar wide receiver-Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins was very gracious to meet, sign and do photo ops with the guest.
A fun time for all, even as a little rain must fall and it did, but that didn’t hamper the spirits of the guest who were dancing, mingling, and enjoying the interactive sports stations, going up the Captain Morgan ship, and overall a great time for all before attending the big game or just watching it on T.V.
