The opening night of the Interior Design Show took place in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre North Building, 255 Front St W, Toronto. This evening opened the IDS Show for its 4 day event. The opening night included the opportunity to visit the designer booths and to speak to the designers. Live entertainment, DJ’s along with snacks and drinks were included. It was an exciting evening to start off the 4 day event. IDS25 welcomed top designers, world class exhibitions and collaborations, and brand new products to Toronto from January 23rd – 26th.












The Interior Design Show once again introduced us to today’s design minds and launched new products and solutions for the future. IDS is always a total design experience. Studio North and Prototype showcased the latest creations from up-and-coming Canadian designers

Each day had a theme – DEZEEN TRADE DAY + IDS CONFERENCE – Thursday, January 23 AZURE TRADE DAY + IDS CONFERENCE – Friday, January 24 THE GLOBE AND MAIL SATURDAY – Saturday, January 25 And HOUSE & HOME SUNDAY – Sunday, January 26,
This year’s show had more than 220 exhibitors. The showroom floor featured 180,000+ square feet of exhibition space. Total guests at IDS over the past 25 years has reached over 700,000 people. And total designers and brands exhibited over the last 25 years is over 5,000!







Will Sorrell, National Director explained how IDS has positively impacted the city of Toronto, and Canada over the last 25 years. Attendees learned about the Future of hotel design of Toronto and how design will continue to adapt and shape our lives
Through panel discussions on stage, the success stories of the Canadian designers whose careers have been helped to launch through IDS were shared.
The top 5 design trends to watch out for in 2025 were available at Studio, North and Prototype where the latest creations of up and coming Canadian designers were on display.










We had the opportunity to listen to Canadian and Internationally renowned designers, architects and visionaries including:
Brian Gluckstein, Heather Dubbeldam, Robert Kastelic, Lynda Reeves, George Yabu & Glenn Pushelberg, Michael Leckie, Maria Porro
Attendees also had the chance to shop the show and buy directly from designers at the District marketplace which featured collections of design products for home.
Speakers, booths, marketplace to purchase, making connections and enjoying the show were all the aspects of Interior Design Show Toronto 2025. Having the event held at MTCC North is very convenient to public transportation – subways close by and hotels in the area. A great spot for a wonderful event. Mark your calendars for 2026!
