Fred Minnick Live 2025 Presented By The New Orleans Bourbon Festival Announces Full Event Lineup.

Known as the world’s top bourbon tastemaker and a multihyphenate, Fred Minnick has brought the tradition of bourbon and whiskey to the forefront of pop culture via his award winning Fred Minnick Show, bestselling books and annual Super Bowl Week event.

Announced last month, this year’s event, Fred Minnick Live Presented By The New Orleans Bourbon Festival, takes place Friday, February 7th at the New Orleans Marriott Warehouse Arts District Hotel ahead of the Big Game.

A toast with Terry Bradshaw:

Bradshaw opened the event alongside host Minnick with a toast and live Q&A. Guests were greeted with the event’s official cocktail, the Whiskey Mile, featuring Bentley’s Row 94 Whiskey and designed by celebrity bartender and mixologist Tiffanie Barriere (Netflix Drink Masters and ASCOT Awards judge).

This was followed by Bentley’s acoustic performance and live Fred Minnick Show interviews featured the event’s special guests. Rose closed the evening with an acoustic performance following the live Fred Minnick Show tapings.

Next we walked to The EA Sports-Madden Bowl Concert at The Orpheum Theater in New Orleans which was front and centre with excitement as EA Sports presented the Madden Bowl, as it was a genre of gaming, music, and celebrity glamour.

It was just a few days before Super Bowl LIX, and the champion of the Madden NFL Championship Series (MCS) would be determined, with Shaboozey, Jelly Roll and Chris Stapleton as the headliner.

We arrived with a lineup around the block for this country themed concert. Once inside, the complex was filled to the rafters with celebs, football fans and the general public. There was great hospitality as generous hosts were walking around with finger foods. The bar was open and the guests inside were friendly with the anticipation of this amazing lineup on a Friday night.

All three musicians put on a spirited concert, with Jelly Roll being the most animated and engaged with the audience. Some of the crowd favourites included some of his covers such as: The Animals-House Of The Rising Sun. The event introduced rising star Tucker Wetmore, who showcased his brand of beer country tunes, and a promising career in music.

At the heart of the event was the intense showdown between the top Madden NFL players, competing for a share of the $1 million dollar prize. At stake was the coveted Madden Bowl Championship ring, showcasing discipline, skill and strategy in the virtual world. The competition was streamed live to millions via Twitch and YouTube, allowing fans worldwide to witness the thrilling conclusion.

After the event at the Orpheus, select guests were treated to the EA Sports 99 Club After Party, an exclusive celebration honoring elite athletes who have achieved the prestigious 99 rating in Madden NFL 25. The after-party featured an intimate performance by a surprise music icon, adding an extra layer of excitement to the evening.

The Madden Bowl  blended the world of esports, music, and celebrity culture, creating an unforgettable experience that highlighted the vibrant spirit of New Orleans. As the city geared up for Super Bowl LIX, the Madden Bowl set the tone for a weekend of celebration, competition, and entertainment, leaving attendees and fans alike eagerly anticipating next year’s festival in S.F. for SB60.

Our last stop for the evening was Shaq’s Fun House. This is a unique event/gala, Part-carnival, part-festival, part-circus, the 7’1” NBA legend and businessman filled the Mardi Gras World on Friday night with a star-studded special guest list 

A highlight of the evening included Shaq lighting up the night with his live DJ set under his popular D.J. Diesel stage name, spinning tracks from modern hits to ‘80s favorites.

During our conversation shortly before he hit the stage, Shaq informed me that he actually loses money every time he chooses to DJ, from properly assembling his team to ensuring that his crew’s impressive audio & visual setup is effectively ready for him to confidently perform.

A fun time for all, some took home stuffed animal prizes, circus mementos and a stomach full of Carnaval food and drinks.
