What an epic NHL break and a change to the All-Star format as Team Canada thrilled hockey fans last month with their triumphant win over the USA to win the inaugural trophy for the 4 Nations. Hockey Hall of Fame opened an exhibit showcasing artifacts from the incredible 4 Nations Face-Off Tournament, including items from Canada’s overtime win. The collection included game worn equipment with each Country represented – Canada, Finland, Sweden and United States.

At the centre of the display was the newly engraved 4 Nations Cup. The impressive looking trophy stands at 29 inches tall and 11 inches wide and is slightly smaller than the Stanley Cup.
Phil Pritchard, HHOF Vice President, Curator and “Keeper of the Cup” brought the trophy in to showcase the lustre and craftsmanship of the new hardware. Included in the artifacts are:

Team Canada Jersey: Sam Reinhart
Team Finland Jersey: Aleksander Barkov
Team Sweden Jersey: Victor Hedman
Team USA Jersey: Jack Hughes
Helmet (USA): Brady Tkachuk
Gloves (USA): Matthew Tkachuk
Pants (Canada): Brad Marchand
As a bonus, from now until the end of March Break guests can have the opportunity to have their picture taken with the Championship Cup.
