The reveal of films for the Hot Docs film Festival was held at the Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema on Tuesday, March 25. The reveal included preview clips of some of the documentary films from all over the world, the themes depicted in the films and that there is a strong Canadian content as well. Present at the Hot Docs Cinema were Hot Docs Admin and filmmakers. The opening film for the festival will be Parade by Canadian director Noam Gonick and producer Justine Pimlott. 2025 Hot Docs program was announced. Festival 12-packs and 20-packs are now on sale!
Hot Docs Members and ticket package holders can obtain single tickets in advance from March 25-31.
Single tickets are on sale to the public as of April 1.
Members save on Hot Docs Festival tickets and ticket packages. So people are encouraged to join to support not only the festival but the Hot Docs cinema. This year again films will be free of charge to students and to seniors during the day – not the evenings.
Patrons are encouraged to please donate to our Friends of Hot Docs Campaign! After months of hard work to address internal and fiscal challenges, Hot Docs is planning for the future. The line up exceptional Cinema programming and the 2025 Festival, needs your help and support. Your contribution is essential for future-proofing Hot Docs. You are encouraged to show that Hot Docs matters!
