Crunchyroll Takes Toronto Event @ Shangri-La Toronto (188 University Ave) on the 3rd Floor-Tues.,April 1st,2025
It was an Anime Lovers delight with excited fans,journalist &photographers were in attendance for the Crunchyroll Takes Toronto event on April 1! Totally not an April Fool’s joke, as invited guest celebrated anime’s meteoric rise at an exclusive Toronto event for anime lovers from around the city and beyond.
We were treated to a sneak peek at the latest shows and movies from the Crunchyroll vaults, what’s next for anime in Canada, drinks,snacks/treats from the generous host, Photo-ops and a few more extra special surprises for the exurban Canadian fans as growing impact and future in Canada is unlimited. With so many anime lovers in Toronto, the organizers decided to offer two presentation/screening times at the event.
Anime guest had the opportunity to experience the different rooms to see all that Crunchyroll had to offer and network with other anime fans. The attire was varied,unique &eye catching as it ranged from casual wear to detailed cosplay costumes.Credit given to all that attended with their themed outfit and those who attended who had a unique experience in downtown Toronto as we look forward to future events to showcase Anime in Canada.
