Larkin Poe at 888 Yonge May 14th 2025. Wow – Larkin Poe absolutely blew the roof off 888 Yonge on May 14th, 2025. From the moment Rebecca and Megan hit the stage, the energy was electric. That gritty slide guitar and raw blues-rock sound just hits different live. Rebecca’s vocals were on fire—powerful, soulful, and totally commanding. Megan’s lap steel? Just pure magic. She makes that thing sing like it’s got its own voice.
The crowd was fully into it too—clapping, stomping, and singing along like we were all in some Southern roadhouse, not a Toronto venue. The setlist was a killer mix of fan faves like “Bleach Blonde Bottle Blues” and “She’s a Self Made Man,” with a few newer tracks that already sound like classics.
What really stood out was how tight the band was. These sisters don’t just play music; they feel it, and they bring you right along for the ride. It was gritty, it was fierce, and it was so damn fun. No gimmicks—just pure talent and passion. Easily one of the best shows I’ve seen this year. If you weren’t there, you seriously missed out.
