Sean Jones’ first of four sessions at the Palais Royale was July 16th. The iconic Palais Royale on Lake Shore Blvd on Lake Ontario in Toronto was a full house! It was a sold out evening! The historic building is set right by the Lake with a beautiful large patio area and room for a bar and beautiful views. Guests really enjoyed the outdoor area and having drinks before the show, at the break and after the show during the DJ set. Delicious and refreshing…and Canadian! Gorgeous evening at Palais Royale at Sunnyside on the deck. Looking out onto one of the Great Lakes created an evening for making memories.
Who is Sean Jones? Sean Jones is a JUNO Award-winning R&B singer/songwriter whose contemporary take on classic soul and R&B sound is a tribute to the icons who inspired him. He’s a frequently sought out entertainer in the Toronto and Hamiton areas. His band included well known Toronto singers Quisha Wint and Cleopatra Williams.
July 16th not only did Jones and his band give the audience the music and songs they love to hear from him. But he included two comedians Jean Paul and newcomer Faiza Kulle in the first set and then dynamic singer APHROSE after the break in the second set. Jones always includes and supports emerging artists by sharing his stage.
It was a beautiful sold out evening. Palais Royale was filled with music lovers enjoying Sean Jones and his band’s music – whether it was Happy Birthday to the guests celebrating or his wonderful R & B music. A great evening not to be missed!
