Under the direction of Maestro Paolo Busato the Casa Loma Symphony Orchestra at Casa Loma is a beautiful experience. Having dinner or drinks in the open air amid the beautiful gardens of Casa Loma while listening to music makes a fantastic date night, family occasion or time with friends. Several people were celebrating birthdays or special events and these were noted by the singers.
Since June 10th Tuesday evenings at Casa Loma have been Rock Symphony evenings. And this continues until August 26th. Each evening features a guest musician along with Justin Di Donato and Cleopatra Williams. July 29th was a special evening with musician and singer Terence Gowan. Terence is known for being part of STYX along with his brother Lawrence (Larry) Gowan. Terence with his lively and charming personality set the stage with his guitar as he joined the stage filled with the orchestra members. Wonderful.
Toronto based singer /songwriter, Justin Di Donato was dynamic. We could see he was enjoying singing as much as everyone there enjoyed his singing! The audience was enjoying his performance very much. Justin is very much a performer. He is a weekly part of the Rock Symphony performance at Casa Loma. Amazing.
Cleopatra Williams is a popular Canadian vocalist and Broadway performer. She is a regular at Casa Loma and other venues in the Toronto area. She has a mesmerizing presence on stage with a beautiful, strong voice while singing and performing. She also is a weekly part of the Rock Symphony performance at Casa Loma. Simply spectacular.
Great rock songs by Metallica, Pink Floyd, Adele, The Traveling Wilburys, Deep Purple, Prince, The Beatles, George Harrison, Aerosmith’s Dream On, ending with Led Zeppelin’s Stairway to Heaven… he nailed it… and the guests enjoyed every second!
