Mid August signals the summer nearly over.. Happily in Toronto it means the biggest and longest running Fair in Canada commences. .. The CNE starts! Whether you’ve lived in Toronto all your life and been visiting the CNE since childhood or a visitor to Toronto – you will always enjoy!

From August 15 to September 1, 2025  the 146th year of the CNE,  Ontario’s favourite fair and end-of-summer event, the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) took place. And once you’ve paid the entrance fee, all entertainment is included. Bonus! Meaning the BANDSHELL concerts, Country stage and indoor Enercare stage concerts etc. are free of charge with the CNE entry fee. In addition to all the fun food, the rides, the buildings with all the shopping and displays set-up, the people-watching, the walking and exploring..

There’s the AIRSHOW on the 3 days of the long Labour Day weekend.  There was music for every taste. From R&B, Rock, Country, new and well-known musicians,  lots of Canadian talent and more.  The set-up of the audience area for the Bandshell included lots of benches for sitting, grass area, picnic tables, lots of standing room at the front and an accessible area near the stage. Bars and food booths were plenty. And with our beautiful, hot Toronto sunny summer, most evenings were perfect for outdoor concerts.

Here are some photos from some of the amazing concerts at the Bandshell. Loved by the crowd and loved by the performers as a favourite music venue! Highlighting Trans-Canada Highwaymen with Gavin McLeod, Jully Black with The Commodores, REVE with JESSIA and Aqyila, Chantal Keviasuk, Dean Brody with Sacha. An amazing line-up! Amazing summer at the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto.

Leading into Labour Day weekend, kids going back to school and the end of the CNE was the traditional air show. Here are some of the highlights of the spectacular array of aircrafts that flew over the lakefront.
