Thursday, February 5, 2026 was the date of the book launch Indestructible:Transforming Survival into Success by Rose Barroso. The launch was held at the Ben McNally Book Store at 108 Queen Street East, Toronto, ON M5C 1S4. Rupert McNally was there.
On a snowy Toronto evening, people attending the book launch had the opportunity to speak to Rose Barroso, to have her book signed with a special message of strength and to chat to people interested in reading and learning more about others’ lives. There was a pleasant group of supporters of Rose and her book. Rose Barroso’s book is her biography describing her fractured family growing up, the unimaginable abuse she suffered to becoming a tenacious woman conquering her inner demons. It is a book for anyone who’s ever been told they would amount to nothing. A reminder that the strongest women are often built from most difficult experiences. She states that healing makes you unstoppable. Sasha Stoltz introduced publisher Neil Seeman for the interview conversation with Rose. She expressed her emotions about writing the book and her feelings from her abusive childhood experience. We saw the sadness and the resilience. Speaking to Rose after the interview showed a compassionate woman who has developed strength and resilience in order to succeed in life and have a happy family with her long time husband and two children.
Who is Rose Barroso? She is a seasoned entrepreneur, luxury real estate broker and award-winning home builder with over two decades of expertise in Toronto’s luxury market.
Her career began over 20 years ago with custom home construction. She later expanded into property management to provide her clients with a full range of high-end services.
Rose earned her real estate license in 2019, then her broker’s license in 2022, establishing her career in building and selling high-end homes in the Toronto GTA. Her work has collected both national and international design awards. Her homes have been featured in prestigious Toronto magazines.
Rose is passionate about giving back. She regularly contributes and participates in charity events close to her heart. She is the mother of two young adults in addition to being the CEO of three successful companies.
