A sold-out Sunday night at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre turned into a full-throttle metal celebration as Black Label Society stormed the stage on March 29, 2026. From a fan’s perspective, this was everything you want from a Zakk Wylde–led show: thunderous riffs, soulful solos, and a crowd that felt like one massive metal singalong.

The band wasted no time kicking into gear, ripping through “Funeral Bell” and newer material like “Name in Blood,” instantly locking the audience into that signature blend of crushing heaviness and bluesy swagger. The sound was thick but clear, letting every pinch harmonic and dive-bomb squeal cut through the room. Wylde, in full command, balanced guitar hero theatrics with genuine fan interaction, frequently stepping to the front of the stage and soaking in the roar of the Toronto faithful.

Mid-set highlights included the emotional sway of “In This River,” followed by the crushing groove of “The Blessed Hellride.” The surprise Ozzy Osbourne cover “No More Tears” landed perfectly, with the crowd belting every word back at the band. The setlist mixed classics and newer songs seamlessly, keeping the momentum strong throughout the roughly 80-minute performance.
By the time “Stillborn” closed the night, the room was a sea of fists and head-banging fans. It wasn’t just loud—it was communal.

The band sounded tight, energized, and genuinely grateful, and Toronto responded in kind. Walking out, ears ringing and voice shot, it felt like witnessing a band that still thrives on pure, unfiltered metal passion
