On Thursday, June 12, 2014, Hundreds of young professionals, males and females attended The Hoxton to drop their trousers and flaunt their legs at the fifth annual Pants Off http://www.pantsoff.ca/toronto for Prostate Cancer event http://www.facebook.com/prostatecancercanada , presented by Bayer Inc., benefiting Prostate Cancer Canada. Pants Off for Prostate Cancer: Protect Your 5-Hole transformed The Hoxton into a hockey-themed paradise. The-below-the-belt nature of prostate cancer was enforced with a mandatory no pants policy at the door for its guests. Attendees danced the night away surrounded by hockey themed decor with impressive ice sculptures, iconic hockey memorabilia, hockey-inspired activities and an amazing menu of food from Parts & Labour chef, Matthew Matheson. Since its humble beginnings in 2010, Pants Off for Prostate Cancer has raised an impressive $250,000 for Prostate Cancer Canada, the nation’s leading charity funding prostate cancer research, support programs, and awareness. The who’s who was in attendance for this fun gala including: Charlotte Burrage (Canadian Opera Company),Jayna Hefford (Canadian Olympic Hockey Player),Kathleen Kauth (U.S. Olympic Hockey Player),Melanie Durrant (JUNO Nominated Musician) and Mike Chalut (Television/Radio Personality)to name a few. Overall a fun time for all and a great Cause to support Prostate Cancer with it’s Canadiana theme of the “Good ole Hockey Game!”
