The Monarch Mag, Nov 4, 2014 @Her Majesty’s Pleasure (566 King St. W)

The Monarch Mag had their coming out party with a launch party at Her Magesty’s Pleasure in King West on a November night in Toronto. Founded by sisters, Tracy McMaster and Alison Heden, The Monarch Mag is about finding or following new trends, sharing that new hot spot, providing product reviews and new restaurants and destinations within Toronto’s GTA for moms to explore.  The sisters are doing mom’s a service by sharing and connecting all mom’s with new places and/or trends, as we all know mothers live a busy life with kids and families taking priority.  Tracy and Alison have found their calling card and have a knack at finding the hidden gems and telling a story behind each place or how to deal with motherhood though their collective experiences or tricks of the trade.

Her Majesty’s Pleasure opened their doors to The Monarch Mag’s guest and entertained with guests with wines, hor d’oeuvres and snacks catered by Patria and of course we must not forget about the delicious ice cream sandwich treats provided by Coco & Cowe.  After a long day at the office or watching the kids, what a better way to end a Tuesday night and attend Tracy and Alison’s magazine launch and get a hand massage or your hair braided while enjoying a some wine and food.

As the crowd mingled and congratulated the sisters on their new venture and strolling around the venue, Tracy and Alison gave a speech about their journeys in launching this much needed media outlet for all mom’s and non-mom’s.  A toast to the sisters and everyone kicked the party into full gear and special guest Monica Schnarre (Canada’s first supermodel), a mom herself made an appearance to show her support for the sister’s new venture.

Special thank you to Michelle Calvert (Lucid Communications), Tracy McMaster and Alison Heden (founders of The Monarch Mag) for allowing us to attend their launch party.
