Prosperity Ball – A Vintage Hollywood Affair, Nov 15, 2014 @Toronto Fairmont Royal York Hotel

On November 15, 2014, New Beginnings Support Program hosted its 7th Annual Prosperity Ball – A Vintage Hollywood Affair in the Imperial Room of Toronto’s landmark Fairmont Royal York hotel.  Guests wined and dined at this black tie affair to vintage Hollywood acts and performances by Jade’s Hip Hop Academy, Johnny Blue, Lina Minniti and Hogtown Swing.   The hosts for the evening, Stephanie Smyth (CP24 Breaking News Desk) and Paul Cook (680 News – Morning Drive) engaged the crowd, Stephen Shea gave a speech on some of the success stories and brought the night’s special guest Crystal Lambert to share her story of how New Beginnings Support Program assisted her

The evening continues with a three course dinner as the hosts and acts entertain the guests as they dine and browse the items up for the silent auction, purchase a key to unlock the prized necklace or do the balloon pop!  The soiree continued into the night as guests took to the dance floor and danced to vintage tunes, while making several trips to ensure they got their winning bids in for the silent auction, take in some cocktails and mingled with some of New Beginnings Support Program’s staff and volunteers.

New Beginnings Support Program provides a holistic approach working with the individualized programs (one-on-one counseling) to provide them with the self-confidence and gain back the control they may have lost from their circumstances.  You can read some of the success stories clicking here or contact.

Special thank you to Sonya Solita (Public Relations Lead) and Asmita Persaud (Administrative & Auction) for allowing us to cover this event.
