31st Annual Great Valentine Gala-Sat.,Feb.,7th,2015@Westin Harbour Castle-Metro Grand Ballroom
It was the 31st year for The Great Valentine Gala for Canadians who live with a disability. On Saturday February 7th,2015, the Canadian Foundation for Physically Disabled Persons hosted their Gala at The Hilton Harbour Castle in Toronto. The foundation have raised more than $26 Million on behalf of Canadian with disabilities. The night included Matt Dusk and his band who provided entertainment for the evening. U.K.’s Sir Philip Craven, Hon. David C. Onley, Ellis Jacob, President and CEO Cineplex Entertainment, and Anatol von Hahn, Scotiabank’s Canada Banking. Also guests inclue: Trevor Eyton, Con di Nino, Michael Wilson, Gail Asper all from The Canadian Museum for Human Rights, Maureen Sabia of Canadian Tires.
The foundation was found in 1985 by Vim Kochhar and the First Annual Great Valentine Gala was created. The foundation has raised over $26 Million for the physically disabled person in Canada and the foundation continues to raise money year round.
