TIFF 2015: Pre-TIFF 2015 Extravaganza-Multiple Locations (Sept. 9, 2015)

So it wasn’t even the start of TIFF 2015 and we were invited to some real”Swanky”Gala. So let’s start off at The Spoke Club for the Canadian Filmakers’ Party. The Who’s Who from the North American filmakers’ association were in attendance. Jason Priestly and E Talk Ben Mulroney were the host for the evening. The patrons were treated well at this invite only Pre-Tiff event. After an hour of mingling, toasting and exchanging pleasantries it was off to the next stop.

Next we were at The Four Seasons Hotel for The Ambi Gala in support of the Prince Of Monaco Foundation. Once again the who’s who were in attendance. The security was super tight and there was an over abundance of undercover officers and bodyguards in attendance. But once the event started the atmosphere loosen up and with the likes of Heidi Klum,James Franco and Diana Ross performing for the crowd, the evening turned into a well run event. By 10:30pm the guest had departed so it was off to the next event.

Sometimes you spread yourself too thin and by the time we arrived at the Soiree event at the Bell Lightbox the gala was ending soon. Natalie Portman had left the event very early and now she was at The Spoke Club. So we departed this event.

We arrived at Airship 37 at the legendary Distillery District. This event was sponsored by Sharp Magazine and Scotia Bank. This Backyard Atmosphere event brought alot of hospitality to the guest. They were treated to top shelf drinks and different food stations. It’s wasn’t Tiff yet but we really enjoyed this event and we look forward to the Sharp event during TIFF.

We stayed up all night and stayed close to the downtown area to experience this year’s Nikki Beach White party. As we were slowly fading away from exhaustion, we stayed very short for the premiere of Nikki Beach. All the patrons were dressed in white except our media crew who went against the grain but hey it’s Tiff time and hospitality and being a member helps. Well off to sleep and getting ready for more TIFF events.
